TASTE OF VIETNAM SILENT AUCTION CHARITY FUNDRAISER
Please meet Kayla. Since she knows our Taste of Vietnam's theme this year is Lotus - women empowerment, she has donated her art work “Resolution” for a silent auction.
"Resolution" will go to the highest bidder, starting at $500.
Cut off time is 6PM August 19th 2023.
100% of the proceeds goes towards charity to help stop human trafficking and child exploitation.
Please support artists like Kayla to help make a difference.
Thank you to her Mom “Linh” for sponsoring the materials.
Taste of Vietnam Toronto Festival believes in supporting our Canadian and local artists in all areas.
Taste Of Vietnam is a place where everyone can contribute, help make a difference, and shine in their own special way.
Here is a message from Kayla:
“My name is Kayla Lien and I am a girl with an affinity for art. Drawing brings me peace and offers me a chance to immortalize the world I live in. Even though I have never taken lessons or received any training in arts, it’s something that I have always enjoyed doing as a hobby and it has become a passion that I want to pursue further. The skills I have developed are self taught through practicing with different ideas and trying out different mediums.
I am excited to start my first year of high school this September in a specialized program for intensive arts to enhance my skills and knowledge to become a professional digital and visual artist.
Aside from arts, I enjoy skating, and play board games with family and friends particularly the game of Chess. I also play piano and have taken private piano lessons since I was 7 years old. I also have a dog named, Cookie, who I adore and love playing with. I treat her like a young sister and my best companion.
I am honoured to donate two pieces of my artwork to Better Futures for Kids to raise funds for a meaningful purpose at the Taste to Vietnam III”.
Thank you for your love and support.
At the recent Taste of Vietnam festival, we introduced our third silent auction item: the exquisite 'Cô Ba Sài Gòn' Ao Dai from the talented designers at Hulos, showcased by singer Kieu Mien. ❤️
In 2019, our wonderful designers at Hulos presented their beautiful Ao Dai Collection at the Taste of Vietnam Toronto festival. They also generously donated their unique and stunning Ao Dai design, 'Cô Ba Sài Gòn,' to support our charity fundraising efforts. A heartfelt thank you to our amazing designers for their generous support. ❤️
This beautiful Ao Dai is one of a kind, representing the 1960s era of Vietnam. It fits size S/M, and we can accommodate alterations if needed.
🌸 The auction price starts at $500 CAD or to the highest bidder. 🌸 The auction will be open from September 1st to September 8th. 🌸 100% of the funds raised will go towards helping children who are victims of child sex slavery. 🌸 Please send your bid, name, and contact information to email@example.com
Thank you, everyone, for your love and support. Together, we can be a voice. Extend a helping hand. Save a life. Let's work together to stop human trafficking. 🌸"
